Highbanks00 Indiana Sprint Week 2009

Was able to attend the last two races of the 2009 Indiana Sprint Weeks and the races at Bloomington Speedway and Tri-State Speedway confirmed what I have known all my life, sprint car racing is where all the action is. The sprint cars actually RACE three and four abreast unlike their distant cousins with wings who just parade that way. The track in Bloomington slicked up but that is expected with 49 cars. As always the Haubstadt track was prepared as well as any track anywhere. Great weather, aw… Continue

Highbanks00 PEPSI Midget Nationals @ Knoxville

Just have to ask, why only 22 cars at the PEPSI Midget Nationals at Knoxville Raceway may 29 & 30? Great racing by the 22 midgets and the 30 Masters 360 sprinters Friday followed by another GREAT show Saturday with 20 midgets and 40 410 sprinters. Unbelieveable weather both nights and everyone attending saw some awsome racing. God speed Chad McDaniel. Our thoughts are with your family. Continue

Highbanks00 Post Pole Day

What a great day it was at The Speedway May 9th for Pole Day. After an uneventfull 3hr 10min drive we arrived in time to see the last hour of practice. The weather was good, maybe a little too much wind, but the action on the track was HOT! It was another GREAT day spent at The Speedway to file away in the memory bank for future refere… Continue

During the qualifying session, drivers can gain an advantage if they are qualifying early or late in the order. This year, all non top 35 drivers will qualify at the end of the session.

While the change is goo
